I was looking up the Lock & Unlock MTR wires for a 2010 Ford F150 and it states their polarity is REV...

Please can someone explain what this means?

Means reversing (only applies if you don't have factory keyless already!)

With Factory keyless only need to use.

Power Unlock    VIOLET/GRAY     (-)     SJB C2280C PIN 4...

PowerLock     GRAY / YELLOW     (-)     SJB C2280C PIN 17

Thnx for the response. Is it possible to obtain a negative pulse from the Lock/Unlock Motor wires? Thinking of using them for a Arm/Disarm (-) Input

Yes just need to make sure that the power door lock switch is isolated from the arm/disarm input . Otherwise you could shut the alarm off with the power door lock switch. Unless that is what you are trying to do. But beware that anyone can break window and hit unlock and disarm the system.

It is my understanding that the Lock/Unlock Motor wires (not the regular Power Unlock/Lock wires), aren't linked to the door switch... Is that incorrect?

yes and no as the motors are reversing meaning the polarity is switched from + and - to - and positive to reverse lock motor direction.

As I see it you will need to use a relay to isolate the disarm input from the power door lock switch. You will need to check and see if interrupting the (Power Unlock    VIOLET/GRAY     (-)     SJB C2280C PIN 4...) will stop the power door lock switch from unlocking but still allow the factory keyless to unlock. If it does then you would wire the relay in as follows door lock wire side to 85 and 87a, - alarm disarm input to 87, junction side of unlock wire to 30, +12v constant to 86. When the power door lock switch is pushed it disconnects the disarm input wire and unlocks. The rest of the time the disarm wire is connected.
This will require you to test and verify the proper function is as I think it is. If not then you will have to seek help from some one who has done this on a Ford like yours.

Thnx for the info. I noticed you said "The rest of the time the disarm wire is connected" but you have at disarm wire input at pin 87. Did you mean to put in at 87a?

Oops, sorry was tired your wright swapped them should be 85 and 87 together and disarm input to 87a.
