I have a 2011 Ford Edge with all the extras. Has remote start, but the range is pitiful as compared to my Viper 5706 on my truck. Id like to use a DBALL2 with the RXT installation and antenna.
I am familiar with Viper remote starts, but never installed one using the RXT installation. Can anyone give me feedback on the following?
What is the typical range using the XL202 and antenna?
Is it possible to use a 7756V 2 way Viper remote with a DBALL2 and XL202 to get the 2 way communication? I see something about programming under the XL202 on page 5. Ideally, this is what I would like.
I've got a few DBALL2's and a 7756V laying around, and would like some feedback before proceeding.
