If you're using a relay like in the link, it goes to terminal 85. If you have a bypass interface, it should come with a diagram and show you where it goes.

Is it necessary to use a relay? I'm trying to follow these instructions on this website https://fortin.ca/download/24951/passlock-sl2v2_revi.pdf
i just can't figure out where the blue wire goes on the remote start. I'm following number 4 diagram. thanks for your response geepherder.

I'm not an expert but I think you'll find that it doesn't exactly say "while running", it says, "(-) while running". In other words, ground while running or "ground out" while running. There should be an output by that name on your remote start or it may also be called "status output". Hope this helps.

Still no luck, it starts for a second and dies. I programmed the bypass and hooked up the(-) blue wire "while running" wire to status output and nothing. posted_image

The problem may have nothing to do with your Passlock bypass, so tell us what system you're installing.

I finally got it! I was using the wrong ignition wire. I needed to tap on a small yellow wire right at the ignition switch not the ignition wire under the dash. Now I have to figure out the relays for my door locks, My fist remote start was on a 95 f-150 so it was really easy. This bypass was a new one for me. I been a tinter for 13 years and really want to start doing alarms and remote start for the slow winter months, thanks everyone for your helpposted_image
