99 F350 install. Autostart 2 Way LCD with virtual tach.

No chip in key

Hooked up 12 volts to Yellow wire
Ign to Larger RED / black
Hooked up accessory to gray / YELLOW
hooked up second accessory wire to first the black with green stripe and did not work, so used smaller RED / black stripe.
RED / light blue is the starter wire.

Vehicle remote starts, runs for 5 seconds shuts off, starts again, runs 5 seconds shuts off, starts 3rd time runs 5 seconds shuts off, normally you get a flash code to tell you why it failed, it does not do that.

Grab tach behind instrument cluster . I believe these have to have reliable tach source

5 - 15 seconds usually a positive indication of no tach.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Being an F350, I assume this is a 7.3 Diesel. If it's a gasser, Ignore the rest of this post, I don't know much about the gassers.

In a 99 Powerstroke you can get the tach in the harness under the "S" shaped cover just to the inboard side of the PCM, outboard of the brake pedal. Going from memory, and I double-checked it on my wiring info, it is wht/pnk.

It is a diesel. I have done hundreds of these and never have done tach on the newer autostart models(models after the 2300itw and after. I will try it
