Hi *.*
I live in Switzerland and I would like to add DSM250 to my viper 5906 System. I know about warrenties and I know how to connect it, no worries here.
According US viper homepage the iphone/android smartstart feature is only available for US and canada.
However, I found an international version of DSM250i:

According directed.com and directechs there no product called dsm250i. What is at all? It is double the price as the regular dsm250 cost.
Can anyone shed light into this issue? Do I have to buy the dsm250i or can I go with the regular unit??

250i is the international version for GSM rather than the US system.
Works perfectly well anywhere except North America, Japan or Korea.
