This is a great site. I'm looking for help with my 2001 Silverado. When I use the remote start, it starts but shuts down right away. I bought this truck a year ago and the remote worked fine. I have a Clifford Matrix RS1.1. Xpress YK06 immobilizer override. I checked all fuse's on system. I tried resetting the immobilizer but it wouldn't do what it was suppose to do. Any thoughts?

Thanks
Steve

Check to see if it does stop and go mode by pressing the remote start button while vehicle is running and remove key from truck. If the truck stays running, then it's either the bypass module needing to be relearned or the brake pedal needs to be adjusted cause it's sending a brake pulse to the RS causing it to stop it's RS sequence.

Thanks for the reply. Did what you suggested, truck shut off when I turned ignition off. Then truck tried starting but shut right off.

See if the unit has shutdown diagnostics, all DEI products do.
Actually sounds more like an ignition feed fault, check all the fuses, either by metering input fuses past the fuse and ground or physically check each fuse with with a meter for continuity.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
