Thank you!, I really need somebody to give me information about my car factory alarm:

What I want to do is to install an aftermarket remote starter, power windows module, (to roll the windows up and down) and some other accessories, but I need to know the function of the wires from my factory alarm.  i.e, I can't find the ground when armed output wire, do you know the color?

Any help will be apreciated.posted_image

Hey Steve, the OEM system will not have a constant ground when armed wire. Why do you need this wire any way ? What year CL do you need information for ?

I've been considering doing the same thing.  Let me know if you get it working.

ok there is no ground when armed output wire on factory systems., why cause there is no starter kill thats what the ground when armed wire is mainly for,. 2 the car most likely has a chipped key so that is it's starter kill. get it. you can however use a timer relay on the lock motor wire of the car to flip from possitive to negative so that when you arm the car and lock the doors it will roll the windows up. negative out comes. if the car has a system in it that locks the doors when the car has been driving a little while or put into drive this will cause the windows to go up. . now the factory alarm does not have features on found on after market alarms such as more channels. and things like starter kill. ground when armed wire and does not have a shock sensor the only thing it has is a hood pin, trunk pin, and door pins as sensors and some newer cars have internal proximity sensors or movement sensors. but you dont your best bet is to get a complete alarm remote start. after market package. you will get starter kill., shock sensor. most alarms have to channel useable outputs. substancial range increase. your best bet.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
