I have a question about diodes and 12 volt constant in my alarm installation. I want to add a fuse to my driver’s side fuse box and extend a 12 volt constant from it to my backup battery 520T and to the red wires on my tilt sensor (507M) and proximity sensor (508D)--all three of these will have fuse even though the fuses are not shown in the diagram below.

I was wondering, do I need to add diodes to separate the 12 volt constant from the 520T, 507M, and 508D, such as shown in my diagram, or are these diodes not needed?

Here is my wiring diagram:

hey
i would say the diodes on the power wires are not needed, only the alarm signal/trigger wires would need to be diode isolated if using the same wire, the power wires should have separate fuses.
