Hi Guys,

First off, I cant believe that there was such a great informative site like this that went by me. I browsed the tech sections and was thrilled.

Though I am an electronic tech, I have read here and realized that as simple as placing a diode across relay coils prevents surges and spikes which can save a lot, we are never too old to learn.

I have been buying and installing Viper and DEI products for myself, friends and family for a long time....I must say that I have never had any failures what so ever, love Viper.

I cant remember what model it was, but there was a Viper I loved so much I actually swapped it out twice from the cars I sold to the ones I bought :) in the early to mid 90ies.

Anyways I am always careful with manuals and store them even after use, however as the years goes by, we see less and less or hard copies of any manual.

I bought a Viper 5706V a year ago for a Land Rover Defender 330tdi manual diesel I am rebuilding and somehow, between reading it at nights in bed and my crazy throw out maid, I have tumbled all over and cant find it.

I am now ready to start the wiring and looked for a copy which pointed me to this site, but when i click on the link, it keeps cycling by asking me to login though I did.

If I can recall correctly, unless I am thinking of one of my older ones, the manual was almost 10 to 15 double sided pages long with the diagrams and programming and there was also a basic installation leaflet. I would like to find a copy of both please, please advise.

Thanks and best regards.

I forgot to add that I bought this model because it has a turbo timer too, but remember reading that it has to be dealer activated. Will it require anything to do so or can I do this in house?

My truck is manual and I bought this with that in mind for remote start and for the turbo timer features.

I have not fully researched this.

Thanks Guys.
