Hi all, long time lurker but never posted. Lots of info here and hope to get some assistance before going further.
I was able to successfully install a Viper 5706V into my 2001 Honda s2000 without remote start. I want to take it a step further and connect the remaining wires to activate the remote start. I've read something about a 3rd ignition wire that may not be included in the DEI diagram which I think is that Orange wire that I connected the starter kill Violet/Green wires . Any help would be appreciated, specifically wire to wire of Remote Start Harness.

Remote Starter Wiring Harness as it stands now:

Remote Start, 10-pin heavy gauge connector
 1 NC No Connection
 2 RED / BLACK (+) FUSED 12V ACCESSORY/STARTER INPUT - Not Connected
 3 PINK/BLACK (+) FLEX RELAY INPUT 87A FLEX RELAY - Not Connected
 4 PINK/WHITE (+) IGNITION 2 / FLEX RELAY OUTPUT - Not Connected
 5 RED (+) FUSED 12V IGNITION 1 INPUT WHITE/ Blue - Not Connected
6 GREEN (+) STARTER INPUT (KEY SIDE) GREEN/ Black - Orange Wire (Ignition Harness)
7 VIOLET (+) STARTER OUTPUT (CAR SIDE)GREEN/ Black - Orange Wire (Ignition Harness)
8 ORANGE (+) ACCESSORY OUTPUT - Not Connected
 9 RED / WHITE (+) FUSED 12V IGNITION 2
 10 PINK (+) IGNITION 1 INPUT/OUTPUT - White (Ignition Harness)

are you putting it in "ready mode" ? start car, e-brake up, foot off the brake, press button on remote, lights flash, open / close door, and then press lock?

Yes, I've done that as well. Car stays running with key out, then open/close door, arm and it cuts off. Remote shows manual icon after its done.

does the dash light up? when you try and remote start it?

oh wait i just saw it, its the neutral safety switch.. you need to hook it up to the E-brake wire hooking it up to the "flip switch" won't work..
