yes i do.
i put the first key and then it flashes green,
then within 3 secs i put the 2nd key and it flashes orange.
then i remove the key and within 3 secs i'm supposed to remote start the car whie holding the program button on the dball2.
but my 2 way remote shows me fails to communicate with viper.
and the car never remote start to finish the programming.

i disconnected the dball2 wiring to get the red light.
and tried all over about 4 times still no luck.
thanks

Sounds like the remote needs to be paired to the brain.
I would go through the pairing procedure.

That would be the button on the antenna, called the control center.

thanks to you. i'm making progress.
i was able to pair it now.
and the remote responds with lock and unlock functions with parking lights flashing but doors don't lock or unlock.
but now i get error code instead on the last step of programming the dball2. first and second step is good but the third step while i'm supposed to hold the dball2 button and press remote start that's where it fails it displays an error on lcd remote.

Just above step 2 on page 7, it states to make sure all door are closed before executing the programing sequence.

Are all door closed?

yes i tried with all doors closed.with no luck.
also in order to get the solid red light back i diconnect all wiring from dball2 and plug the black then red then blue connector and press and hold the dball2 button and plug the white D2D and release button.

when i bought the dball2. according the ebay seller he said he flashed it for mazda2.

also is the programming necessary to unlock and lock doors, since now i only see the lights flashing on mazda2 but locks don't respond.

on that 3rd step the the car lights flashes about 7 times.
saw somewhere online that it's possible that viper is on manual mode

If your Mazda is automatic transmission then the Viper needs to be put into automatic mode.
Menu 3, Item 1, Option 2, using the control center button and the remote.

Ignition on then off. press and hold the button until the horn chirps three times, or LED blinks three times, then release. press and release button 1 time, then press and hold. using the remote press the lock button.
That should put it into auto mode, release the button. wait 30 seconds for the system to exit the programming. Then try to program the DBALL.

thanks a million
you the best i'm all set. remote start and lock and unlock work as a charm. once i switched to automatic trans mode.

one more thing :))

i wanted to hook up the window since my mazda has driver roll/up/down window. on page 3 both lines shows in red. on the black pin they are h#4, h#5. i need to know where do i tie them up to the viper.

thanks again.

the window roll/down didn't work after i tied the wires you mentioned. instead aux triggers to unlock doors.
windows thing is not a big deal at all to me.
I'm all good with the main option of remote start.

thanks again and nice chatting with you smokeman......
Peace...
