hey guys,

installed a compustar CM7200 in a 2012 Nissan Juke PTS manual trans. Everything work except it doesn't remote start remote start the vehicle unless if I have the clutch pressed down. I have the clutch bypass by a relay. What could be the problem? It goes in reservation mode after existing the vehicle. When attempted to remote start the vehicle, ignition comes on but doesn't start. Is there another safety switch somewhere that I am maybe missing? Any help would be much appreciated,

Thank You

Regards,

Actually, you have to open one wire and apply a (+) to another wire and the clutch pedal.
Apply (+) 12V Starter signal to the Brown wire at the clutch pedal interlock switch and open the Grey wire at the Cruise
control switch with a GWR signal. You will need a relay for the Grey wire.

Soldering is fun!

check the hood switch, also check hand break switch both switches give negative trigger to the alarm module. some times hood switch becomes corrosive due to exposure to water and other environmmental factors. If it is faulty replace it with new and also see good contact to car metal body ( the paint surface should be scratched) is available when hood is opened. Like wise when you press and depress the clutch check the switch connections for the results.
Have a 12 volt bulb tester with you to check the switches. Preferably a multimeter is good. If after testing noresult is found assume the switch is the culprit. replace it and check further. Hope this helps.
