I purchased a 2005 chevy duramax that had an astrostart / astroflex 4204 system previously installed with a GMDLBP doorlock interface. However, the truck did not come with a remote and I purchased this separately on Ebay.
I have reset & reprogrammed both the astrostart module and the GMDLBP with no luck. The module responds to the remote start command and activates the parking light relay, but then does not activate the starter. The module then flashes the LED 8X and locks the doors after about 30 sec.
I double checked the wiring and found the pin P2-9 12V+ out (1 amp max) was connected to the main 12V+ power wire. (previous installer probably thought this pin was 12V power in). I also directly connected the two wires for the main switch just to make sure the switch was not bad, but that did not change anything.
Does anyone have any other troubleshooting ideas? I have tried everything I can think of.

Should the disabling switch have power on one wire?
