Vehicle is a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek XV CVT...installed Viper 4115V 1-button w/idatalink ALCA, W2W (flashed DBI DL SUB3). Everything working fine as far as remote starting/unlock goes, just don't seem to have the parking lights functional when vehicle running under R/S (either flashing or constant). Odd thing is, they do work otherwise (e.g. when shutting down via brake pedal input)...only thing I can think of is when flashing the ALCA by vehicle type, it only gave me the D2D DBI option after inputting the type of R/S being used (Viper 4115V), no W2W. Looking around the flash options afterward, noticed that if "flash by firmware" is chosen, different options are given for type of install....including W2W. Is it possible that this is what is hampering the parking lights operation....would the different flash method have any effect? Any opinions much appreciated, Al.

You may have connected the wrong wire for key sense. There's a BLACK/ white wire which will test like key sense, except that it drops voltage when you turn on the parking lights. If you connect an ignition output to this wire in place of the actual key sense wire (which is also BLACK/ white), it will disable the parking lights during the remote start cycle.

Thanks kaezoo....no key sense wire required to be connected according to idatalink install instructions. Double checked all connections, then had a chat with tech support at idatalink....was told that parking light control, with the AL-CA, wasn't functional for all applications. They instructed me to just connect direct from R/S module to proper location on vehicle, so that's what I did and all is good now! No reason given as to why "data parking light control" is listed as a feature, but doesn't seem to be functional in this case.....Al
