Now i am aware that an actuator is needed to work with hyundai's central locking system.  My question is, with most 2 wire acuators what input is needed? are they positive to lock and negative to unlock? or both negative with a resistor to unlock?  the diagram ive seen is the 5 wire (reverse polarity ) with 2 relays. however both lock and unlock wires are connected to positive with no resistors present. is it simply just a neg. pulse and the actuator will just  move from whatever position its currently in?  Is this diagram accurate ?  https://www.bulldogsecurity.com/wires/images/actuatordia.htm

any help would be great  thnaks            Rich

That diagram is fine as is this one Actuators / Reverse Polarity
Thats assuming your alarm outputs negative cdl triggers.

The Elantra is a little tricky as it uses cables and no rods, although it can be done quite easily by connecting the acuator rod directly to the lock button.
