I'm trying to add power door locks to my 92 Civic. I don't have an alarm, so it needs to opperate on a momentary switch only. I have (2) SPDT 5-Terminal relays to run the the actuator. I've been trying some of the various diagrams on the net, but none seem to work. Does anyone know of a place I can get good step-by-step instructions on how to wire this? Or of a known working diagram? Keep in mind I'm not using an alarm or keyless entry with it. Thanks for any help I can get.

Follow the diagram exactly with the exception of the alarm wires, wire your momentary switches with one wire to ground and the other wire to either the lock or unlock from alarm as noted in the diagram.

ok, I've wired it as shown and checked it over several times. But, it still doesn't seem to work. To clarify, I'm using a momentary switch with 3 terminals. The center I have to ground, 1 end to unlock (alarm unlock in diagram), and the other end to lock. Is this correct? Also, whenever I ground terminal 87a on the relays, they seem to stop working completely (ie-no more clicking noise inside). When I take the 87a ground off the terminal, I get the clicking noise back. THroughout all of this, I have yet to get the actuators to move. I know they are a good set of actuators as I have tested them.

Thanks for the help, it seems the relays I was using were defective. I got it new ones, wired it up and it works great!!
