My CM6200 on my 04 Jeep TJ manual has been working perfectly fine until about two months ago now.

Now when I try to put it in reservation mode, when I open and close the door part, it immediately shuts off when the door is closed and doesn't go into reservation mode (or lock the doors which it used to do.) Once in a while it works fine, most of the time it doesn't now...

Any ideas?
Thanks :)

Still doing this on and off randomly. I've gone through the wiring and it all looks good. Not sure what it could be...

Try checking the factory door switch clean or replace if working intermittently. If the door switch is not making a good connection and the R/S see more than a single connection instance it will think the door was open closed and reopened and cancel the reservation mode.

I did check them when I went over the wiring. It also does shut down immediately when the door is closed when it does malfunction.

So when the door switch is tested with a DMM and you wiggle the switch there is no variation in the reading. The R/S will think the door was opened closed and opened even if its only for 10ms which would only look like a slight flicker to the eye.

I didn't notice any, but will check them again. I had to press them in about 2mm before they even registered...

With you system there are four monitored inputs for the reservation mode.
!. Footbrake
2. Parking brake
3. Hood pin
4. Door pin(s)
Any one of the switches or the wiring to them needs to be verified to have solid connections and proper function.
Otherwise try unplugging the brain from both power and ground and then connect the units power and ground together to drain any residual power for 5 minutes.
If problem persists likely unit has gone bad.

If the door switch is the same on driver and passenger side, try swapping them. Should tell you wether it’s the driver switch that’s an issue or not.
