HI,

First of thanks to the site, I jumped in to my first alarm/ remote start install.

I have most it figured out except the remote start:

Symptoms:

Try to use R/S it flashes one time and you can here the brain clicking but doesn't do anything (crank)it tries again before failing. I checked for voltage on the starter output side of the brain and nothing. It does start with key like normal. Also when i try R/S it also doesn't give the ignition power as the fuel pump doesn't prime.

Wiring:

Red/Black- n/a
Pink/Black- n/a
Pink/ White- n/a
red- n/a
Green- from ignition switch cut this wire
Violet- to starter from wire I cut
Orange- n/a
Pink- from switch hot when on and cranking

It came in manual mode switched to auto also didn't know I had to have the parking brake wire hooked up. I have fixed those issues and it's not giving the error flashes.

This is going into a 81 regal so i don't have any immobilizers or anything of that sort.

Power the red.

-------------
Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
