Any DEI dealers in here that would be willing to add my email to your account? I'll even paypal you a predetermined fee if necessary.

I really struggle to believe DEI wouldn't just charge a fee for users like myself, instead of flat shutting off the accounts.

I don't do many remote starts each year, but I purchase these units from DEI dealers. Seems like a sure way to screw yourself out of business but shutting down all the small installers. Nearest DEI shop to me is 45 minutes away in another state.

i would recommend switching brands if dei wants to loose business there loss. i would go with datalink/idatstart, fortin, and compustar.

im a dei dealer/account holder and i rarely use there product as they cause me to much problems i have zero issues with idatalink and idatastart and fortin bypasss and starters compustar new digital starters are also very nice units

bogucki, would it be possible to have my email added to your account?

I'm not a full time installer anymore, and haven't been for years. But I have installed 400+ DEI units, and that's basically all I know.

I only install 4-5 units a year anymore, but given my entire knowledge base revolves around DEI, it would be better for me to retire than to learn a new brand.

I'd rather not throw away a bit writer, and XK loader because someone in upper level management got their panties in a wad.
