I am working on a 2003 crown Victoria installed Clifford 5305 everything works just fine except that when the door lock switch is used it blows the fuse I thought I left an exposed wire causing it to short out and blow but went thru all wiring and it was all protected. long story short once I disconnected the lock wires coming from the relays it stopped blowing the fuse. now my question is how can I fix this problem? I reversed the output of the doorlocks bc it needed a positive output.

Draw us a diagram of how you wired the relays and maybe we can help.

Just remove ground from 87a of both relays.

are you sure they are positive and not reverse polarity?
