I just installed a RS-900V Remote start on my wife’s 2002 Dodge Intrepid and everything is working properly except for the remote lock\unlock.  After searching the site I found some information on a stratus & a caravan.  Both vehicles require the use of resistors.  However, I read that on the caravan when a ground is applied to the lead through a 1.5 K ohm resistor the doors will lock. When ground is applied to the lead through a 249 ohm resistor the doors will unlock.  On the stratus, to lock is positive thru 1800 Ohm and lock is thru 750 Ohm.  My question is how do I get the remote lock\unlock to work on a 2002 Dodge Intrepid.  Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

   Chad

Ok, first I will state that I skimmed through your post. Your door locks are a single wire system requiring a positive trigger, lock is going to be 2.7lk ohm and unlock will be 620 ohm, and the wire color is WHITE/ green. Not knowing your alarm specifically, you may need to wire a relay to provide a positive outout, so you will need one of these for lock and unlock.
]posted_imageIt is similar to the diagram for the caravan and stratus, except it is a positive trigger.posted_image
