I have a 2016 Subaru Impreza (Standard Key) with an EVO-ONE alarm/remote starter. When programming the options for it, I was wondering if somebody would be able to explain these to me...
- Doorlock Option: Unlock before remote start & lock after remote start, lock after remote-start, unlock and relock after shut-down, relock 10 sec after shutdown, and disarm before shutdown.
--> I think this may be because the factory alarm may need to do this to re-arm itself or let the car start without the key?
- Ignition Doorlock: Lock after foot-brake & unlock after key is turned OFF, unlock after key is turned off, doorlock output at ignition only.
--> Is this more of a convenience feature? Is the doorlock output at ignition only so that there are not double locks/unlocks?
- Sound Confirmation & LED antenna: 1st LOCK/UNLOCK silent 2nd LOCK/UNLOCK sound, lock/unlock sound always, antenna led disabled, antenna led disabled with ignition, confirmation sound at lock only, panic mode disabled.
--> Is the "sound" the horn or the beep? (IE: horn is loud, the beep is much softer).
- Output Horn/Siren: Horn Only (-), Siren (+) Output E1 white, Siren(+) Output (E1) and Horn (-), Siren(-) only (A7)
--> Does this mean if you want the horn or siren when there's an alarm or if there's any type of output? For example, in the above option, does it use the horn/siren or the beep?
I think that might be it... I'm trying to get an idea of how to get this thing to how I would like it.
Thanks!
