Hey everyone

I'm looking for the immobilizer on a 2016 Nissan versa note sv... I am installing a remote start with a T-harness and there is no flat 4 pin white plug on the ignition barrel.

There is a cable running off the side of the ignition but no white clips.

Where is the immobilizer plug?

I can't get the remote start to work at all, locks or unlock won't work either.

Please help

Compustar system with an Idatalink T-harness which plugs directly into the factory plugs.

My car doesn't have that black ring around the ignition, it is just the silver ignition barrel. I was reading somewhere that some 2016 Nissan versa's did not come with an immobilizer. Could that be true?

yes some vehicles in the United States of America do not have an immobilizer as it's not a requirement, in Canada and I think in the UK it is required for all vehicles to have an immobilizer. Most bypasses you can skip the the Immobilizer connection if you don't have it, follow the install diagram I will tell you how to skip the immobilizer connection, I'm assuming you have the new compustar dc3 with the t harness, if so they have instructions how to skip the immobilizer connection in the install diagram.

You're right Europe and Canada, Europe from 01/01/97 although the Germans were using them from around 94.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
