I recently installed Bulldog Deluxe 500 remote start on my 06 F150 super crew. Someone gave it to so I figured Ill install it. Sometimes it short cranks and I have to hit it again then it will start with no issues. I have tried to adjust the crank time according to the manual to no avail. I think the crank time programming doesn't work because I have the tach wire installed. It's supposed have a 6 sec crank time with the tach wire according the site, but it only cranks for like 2 sec maybe the first time. I have the tach wire hooked up to coil # 5 since I didn't see a specific coil, I hooked it up there. Is it supposed to be on a specific cylinder like # 1? Also if I was to disconnect the tach wire will it just go tachless mode and I would be a able to program the crank time according to the manual.

Thanks
