Installed a Compustar ft-ezgo earlier this month. Seems like the operating range is inconsistant. Usually it will sense the remote within a few feet of the vehicle sometimes you almost have to touch the vehicle. I have the Ezgo receiver mounted on the windsheild right above the rear view mirror.
. Suggestions? Thanks.

Change battery and try it again.
