I know this doesn't really answer your request, but...most of the data interfaces handle everything for you anymore. They have the ability to read the data-bus in the vehicle and provide you with a very simple interface.

If you take a look at Idata's ALCA they offer 2 different firmware options. One firmware will add remote start with just the data interface using the factory remote (hit lock 3x). The other firmware will give you pretty much everything else so that you can use an aftermarket alarm/starter without the need to interface the vehicle with each and every circuit.

Thanks for that info! I looked over the blade all install sheet and it was specific where the several wires I had to tag were. Times have changed for the better!
