Hi everyone. I posted last week regarding this install before I decided to go with the DB3 and have an issue.

I've found all of my wires, and correctly soldered and taped all connections. I've checked and double checked everything. However, when attempt to program the module, with the provided Directechs instructions, it is interfering with my internal vehicle computer. As soon as I turn the key on, I get a "Tire Pressue Sensor Fault", "Traction Control", and my instrument dash cluster tends to freak out a little bit, and not go through it's normal start sequence. After double checking my wires, I decided that the issue was probably coming from my OBD connections. The HS CAN H (pin 6 OBD) and HAS CAN L (pin 14 OBD) I tapped into a preexisting OBD plug that my Maestro uses with my headunit. The MS CAN L and MS CAN H are tapped in directly behind the factory OBD plug.

I thought the Maestro aftermarket OBD harness was causing the problems, but when I cut those 2 wires, I still received the errors.

Do I have the incorrect wire diagram for the CAN wires? Everything I used for wiring was DEI or dealer supplied, so is correct by those standards. Would tapping into all four wires directly behind the OEM plug help me? I don't think that is what's causing the issues.

Also, the DB3 has a slow orange flashing signal now. I don't think I've hurt the DB3, but think it is in Key2Go programming mode.

Any advice? Thanks for any help in advance.

Update: The wire schematics diagram from DEI for the DB3 is a little misleading. Using the wiring in the diagram is what threw off the CAN-BUS system. Below the diagram is a chart with wire connections. Using those instructions, I was able to get the DB3 to program and run door locks, triggers, etc. Once I can take it out of Man Transmission mode, I should be able to get it to remote start.

The only issue I am currently seeing is with the unlock function. When I unlock the doors with the Viper remote, something is triggering the accessory wire. It is causing all my dash lights and radio to quickly come on, then shut off. This does not happen with the lock function. Is this normal?

Thanks for any help.
