Good day, I am trying to find out information on what may be done with a remote start/security system I previously purchased. The Python 5906 system needs to be installed with a key by-pass on my type of vehicle due to the rolling key function/immobilizer system. I purchased a direct techs DB2 which should work claiming to have W2W and D2D functions. My first issue is that the company Direct Tech does not display the Subaru STI as a model within their vehicle selection, but does have the Impreza and WRX. I want to be certain about which wiring diagram to use from the 2 options available. I have contacted the manufacture and have not received any response. I ask if the wiring for the 2014 WRX is identical for the 2014 STI in every way pertaining to the Remote Start and Immobilizer Bypass. Also, is there a possibility to leave a spare chipped key within reach of my Ignition switch or security system in order to allow the remote start function to operate for my Pyhton 5906. I hope this is not too much to ask for nor be a bother. Thank you.

Hi, Im trying to install the Avital 4105 into a 2015 Impreza and want to use a key in the box. Was wondering if yours ended up working out?
