I have a Viper 5901 alarm system that I plan to install but do not want to use the Remote Start feature. However, I do want to retain the Starter Kill portion of the system. With this in mind, which wires do I need to retain on the heavy gauge 10-pin wiring harness? I'm assuming only 3 wires are needed:
- Pink: Ignition Input/Output
- Violet: Starter Output
- Green: Starter Input
Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry if this has been answered before. But I couldn't come up with the right search terms to find my answer.

yes you will use the reds, pink and the green for key side and violet for starter side but depending on the car may not have to hook up starter kill

I'm a little confused by your post. So I will need:
- H3/1 Pink Igntion 1 input/output
- H3/4 Violet Starter input
- H3/5 Green Starter input
- H3/6 Red Ignition input
Is this it?

best to just hook up all the reds, starter wire of the car will be cut in half and the green wire will go toward the key cylinder, purple towards the engine or starter, and pink wire to the ignition wire of the car so you can reset a alarm notification, program unit, bypass starter kill if you loose your key fob..blah blah blah. What kinda car is it going into?

It's going into a 1995 Nissan 240sx with manual transmission
So...
- H3/1 Pink Igntion 1 input/output
- H3/2 Red/White Fused Ignition 2
- H3/4 Violet Starter input
- H3/5 Green Starter input
- H3/6 Red Ignition input
- H3/9 Red/Black Fused Accessory Starter input
For my own understanding (the Viper instruction manual isn't that clear), can you explain to me why I need to use the Red, Red/White, and Red/Black connectors? Thanks!
