I just installed one of these in a 2004 Hyundai Accent. Super easy install because no factory security or chip in key. I’ve installed about 70 of these over the past couple of years with great luck. Problem with this one is that remotes don’t do anything. I swapped antennas from my wife’s car that has the same system. Not the issue. The antenna from the Hyundai works in her car. I tested continuity of the antenna wire at all pins from both ends. Not the issue. Antenna lights up and accepts programming button pushes and horn chirps to confirm. Tried to reprogram the remotes but when you push the lock button to program them to the system no chirps with the horn. My ground is rock solid and all fuses tested. I’m leaning toward a faulty unit as in maybe the antenna pins aren’t connected to the board properly in the main brain box. I could swap the starter out with my wife’s but that would require me to take the dash apart in her car. Any ideas?

Program remotes to other car to rule out the remotes aren't the issue and are working normally. Replace unit if remotes work.
