I have a 2010 RAV4 Base 4WD with 4cyl engine. I cross connected the jumper cables and messed up the electronics. I have gone through all the fuses and replaced all the ones that blew and everything is almost back to normal. The only thing that does NOT work is the remote starter. The dealership installed an Automate AM6 (per the manual) when I bought the car brand new. I think the bypass module was fried since the card would not shutoff even after I removed the key. I removed the bypass module and everything is fine (except remote start). I am able to lock and unlock using the remote starter FOB so that is working. I did buy a new(from ebay) xpresskit PKALL, which was the module in the car. I followed the instructions to program it but that did not solve the issue. When I try to remote start, I can hear the relays click several times but it does not go any further. I tried to remote start by keeping the key plugged into the ignition but the same thing happens. Any advise on what to look for next?

DMM the Heavy gauge input and output wires to verify 12v is there for input and output has 12v when R/S. If any of the outputs are not turning on then the R/S is damaged and not engaging the internal relay(s).
