Installing excalibur rs4753d with ads-alca. Don't feel comfortable touching bcm for door locks. Is there another access point for those wires?

It's a simple one wire system. The switch/switches sends/send the appropriate signal to the BCM. You'll need to measure resistance during unlock to get the correct resistor value, then send ground through the resistor to unlock, and send a straight ground to lock. Nothing to be uncomfortable about. If you get the resistor value wrong, it'll likely keep locking the doors or do nothing at all with each unlock pulse.

POWER LOCK      PURPLE/RED (- THRU RESISTOR) TEST SWITCH WITH OHM METER FOR RESISTOR VALUE      BCM/dash fuse box, green 60 pin plug (C6), pin 9
POWER UNLOCK      SAME WIRE AS LOCK (-)

Thanks for the fast response. This vehicle is the 1.4 liter built in Italy. There are no visible wires at the end of any connections.I've never seen this type of wrap they used around the wires. I was able to trim the covering for the obd connector for those 2 wires. For the bcm can I disconnect the 60 pin connector. Otherwise I can't find the right wire. Thanks

I would disconnect the negative side of the battery before disconnecting the plug to the BCM just to be safe, make your connection to the purple with red wire, then reconnect the plug to the BCM, then reconnect the battery.
