Hi Guys,

I am converting a manual window to electric powered. The window uses a manual scissors type mechanism and the electric conversion kit consists of the same design. It is not a big window and fairly resistance free, no tight rubber seals. I have not installed it as yet so have not tested the current draw on the initial power load. I will be installing a Viper 5706 and a Directed 535T, do you guys think its advisable to use relays still for the windows or the 535T internal electronics be capable of powering the windows long term with no issues?

I dont know what the internal design is regarding the 535T, do you guys know if it just does a by pass when the switch is used or does it go though the system too as a trigger activation would?

Thanks so much guys.

Cheers.

The 535T supplies current to drive the window motors. It is to be fused for 20A so additional relays are not required.

Looking at the 535Ts harness, it does have a 20A inline fuse, I still have to run it from my aux fuse box having another 20 amp fuse anyway.

Thanks again for the reply.
