We installed an Avital 4105L today and it was working correctly until a ground wire made contact with the center pin (normally unused, pin2) of Door Lock, White 3-pin connector. I know this because we were searching for a door trigger wire and think I killed it.

The unit will not respond to any remote control or any other inputs. I have tried removing power for several minutes and still have nothing.

Is the unit dead?

The install is in a 2006 P71.
