Hi, fitted my Audi A3 2017/ 2018 facelift with a Clifford remote start 5906. It all works ok, just one thing is if I remote start from the Clifford I get an system error on the virtual dash "start system fault visit workshop". You can ignore it and after using the key this resets the message from the screen.
I have used this guide as a basic point for picking up the wiring and the car does remote start as well as immobize the starter ok. The diagram I have used is page 6. https://directechs.blob.core.windows.net/documents/ds4plus-vw07_fsg_en_nf20180112.pdf
I have not used the diodes or the keysense wire. I have also left the key in the ignition and remote started with the same issue.
The reason I didn't use the diodes is I have used the 5906 ignition relay, the starter cut and output relay and also the flex relay as a second ignition ( wired to the yellow and green).
Any ideas?
