Hi all, my remote start turns on ignition, but doesn't crank starter and the command center beeps 5 times. Pit stop works fine, alarm etc. Any ideas? List of beep codes?
Thanks, Mike

5 flashes is the hood shut down, the grey wire, is grounded.

The shut down codes are usually on the LED or on some systems the park light flashes. I didn't think the center beeps. The fobs beep, and five beeps usually means the command sent by the fob was not acknowledged by the system. I'm confused that pit stop works if there is a ground on the hood shut down, or a problem on any other shutdown (neutral or brake). It shouldn't. So I think there's something else going on.

Hi thanks it isn't a switch, tried each one and they all cancel the sequence. I sit in car, doors closed, push button, lights flash, ignition and instrument panel goes thru self checks,Command Center beeps 5 times, and no start relay click, nada.
If I hit brake, release parking brake,or open hood,it aborts and shuts down.

Need to have my hearing checked,I tried again and the beep is coming from dash area, probably factory immobilizer. 2006 Scion Tc
Looking for my service manual,stand-by. lol

Put your meter on the purple wire starter output. Run it through a R/S cycle. Watch the meter: If there IS an output on the purple wire, it isn't the R/S, it's the car not allowing the starter to engage. If you used a bypass, that's probably where issue lies.
