Setup consist of a Compustar CM7000 with ADS-Blade-AL in a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7. When trying to flash the blade with "Blade-AL(DL)-CH6 Revision Date: Wednesday, January 3, 2018" using idatlink/Weblink and ASDUSB it fails to find the module. The led will go blue briefly (about 5 seconds) 1 out of 5 attempts, but most of attempts fail after a few seconds of searching for device. The led is flashing red otherwise.
I have reattempted to flash after resetting the blade as well as using 2 different laptops with the same results. Any ideas?
Regards.

Check the blade connection pins in the CM7000. Do a close inspection of the pins and the corresponding holes of the blade cartridge.
I had a case where a pin was bent.
You could try another cable from the ADS USB to the CM7000. I've had wires break inside them.
Next step would be a new Blade cartridge or another CM7000.
------------- Soldering is fun!
