The wire for the 554t shock sensor has the same harness on each side.  One harness has the green wire looped back in to the blue wire while the other side the green wire conects to nothing(for optional sensors).

Which side goes into the sensor and which side goes tothe unit?

Thanks!

The side that has the loop from green to blue goes to the sensor, and the other side plugs into the brain.

The shock sensor is multiplexed, meaning that it sends out a different length pulse depending on the trigger.
If the sensor detects a warning trigger, it sends a 0.5 second pulse to the green wire. If the sensor detects an alarm trigger, it sends a 1.0 second pulse to the blue wire. The brain is smart enough to differentiate the differences in the two pulses. Therefore, you could hook-up another sensor to the green wire @ the brain (ie - 508D, dual stage proximity sensor).
