Been doing lots of reading and trying to solve this for several days now without success. I'm installing an Avital 4113LX with PKALL bypass. Can remote start with key in ignition off position so most likely RS wiring is done correctly. Have tried repeatedly to program PKALL per instructions but have not attained 10 flashes that would confirm successful programming. All I get is a solid red at the end of programming and instructions say to start again from step 1. Also tried a second PKALL bypass unit new out of the box with the same results. Currently connecting D2D from PKALL to 4113LX and from PKALL's 6 pin connector: purple/white to vehicle ignition barrel data pin 6/light green, blue/white from PKALL's 6 pin connector to RS blue/white 2nd status, and pink from PKALL's 6 pin connector to vehicle ignition barrel pin 2/yellow.

Decided to W2W by cutting D2D connector at RS end and hardwired red pin1 wire to 12V constant and black pin3 wire to ground and still no go. Continuity tested all wires and connections throughout the process. Any idea why I can't get the PKALL to program? So stumped.

A bad T-tap connection at the transponder connector pin6/light green data wire was the culprit.
