Avital 4105L Avistart Remote Start with Two 4-Button Controls installed in a 1998 f-150 when we hit the start button it acts like it wants to start but the starter it not long enough. We tried to program it so that it would be longer but it will not allow us to. I was wonder is we did the wire incorrect and that's why it won't let us program it. Below is how we hooked it up. Can anyone tell me how to program the Avital so that it a longer starter?
Blue green – orange
Yellow - red
Gray yellow – pink white
Green purple- red
Red gray - purple

We need more information to point you in the right direction.

Does your truck have PATS? If so, what interface are you using?

How many ignition wires do you have connected (2 or 3)?

Have you learned the tach? Do you have the tach wire connected?

There is no PATS on the truck and all the accessorie wires on contacted and got plus 12 volt when the key in the accessories position and no tach wires are connected we are using the auto tach on the Avital. We are unable to change the crank time.

Looking back over your first post, you have an ignition wire connected as accessory. Blue/green should be connected to pink, not orange.

Okay, no PATS. How many ignition (not accessory) wires do you have connected?

I'm going by the 4105V manual (download section), which I assume is the same as the 4105L.

If you have no tach wire connected, the default is virtual tach. You need a Bitwriter to adjust crank time.

Alternatively, you could try voltage, or run a tach wire.
