Decided to install an Avital 4105l in my beater truck. This is the second time I've installed one of these units, first was in my daily driver with no issues.
The start works fine, however the door unlock/lock does not. Truck is a 95 with power locks. Checked the output with multi-meter and the the door lock and unlock pins at the avital box are sending no voltage when button is pressed. (parking light flash output does work though.) However the middle pin of the 3 pin connector (which is unused) has constant 12V, don't know if this is correct. Seems like I got a faulty box maybe? Or is there some programming setting I'm missing here? Cannot figure out where to go for Avital tech support, found nothing helpful on their website.
Any help appreciated.

The Avital supplies a ground (negative) pulse during lock/unlock, not a positive pulse. Since you should have relays on hand for your door locks anyway, connect one leg of a relay coil to battery power, and the other leg to your output wire. When you arm/disarm, you will hear the relay click.
