I have a friend with a 2004 GMC Sierra and have installed a Viper 3105 alarm. He wants to add a second starter kill using the parking brake. The Viper starter kill works when the parking brake starter kill is not connected and the parking brake starter kill works when the viper is not connected. If I have both connected the truck will start no matter if the alarm is triggered or the parking brake is not set. Can anyone give me an idea of what I may be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

We can't see the truck. Can you draw us a diagram?

I dont have a picture at the moment. I will try and get one tomorrow. I cut the yellow starter wire and connected the black and green from the Viper each end of the starter wire. I built a relay like this.
87a ignition side of starter wire
86 12v ignition pink wire
85 parking brake light blue at bcm blue plug pin a7
30 starter side of starter wire

The viper green and purple and the relay 30 and 87 must be in SERIES to work. Ie through one, then the other. I think you have them in parallel.
