Just finished installing a Viper 5806V in a Tacoma that previously had Viper 5901. When I try to set the manual transmission mode, everything works fine until I close the truck and select lock on the keypad. My truck turns off, but my alarm goes off a few seconds later. I currently have the green/white Factory Alarm Arm Output connected to the negative door trigger input. I connected it there with my old system to turn the headlights off when the remote start turned off. With the 5806, I think the truck is locking/arming, and then 4 seconds after my remote start deactivates, my alarm goes off because it thinks the door is opening. I disconnected the wire and enabled manual transmission mode fine, but then my headlights remained on. I could manually turn off the headlights each time, but I'm sure I'll forget often. Is there a better wire to use for this situation?

Give this a try to isolate the rearm from the trigger input.posted_image
