Hello I have a 2006 civic with a Compustar cm900 remote start and the blade al bypass. Everything works as it should. But the doors unlock and lock to disarm the factory security and I don’t care for it.

I read that you can work around it by connecting the analog disarm output to the lock cyl unlock signal in the kick panel.
My question is if I do go that route does it dis arm it and leave it disarmed. or do I have to hook up the analong arm to the lock signal also so it could arm after it starts?
Thank you, tom

if you only hook up disarm, it only disarms the alarm. doors don't unlock.

When you remote start the car, the unlock is to disarm the Factory Alarm system. It only unlocks the
drivers door. As soon as the engine is running, it locks the door but it does not turn the Factory
Alarm back on. I don't think it is possible to turn the Factory Alarm on while the engine is running
and as far as the car knows, it thinks it was started by a key in the ignition.

the way it is now the blade is unlocking/relocking the drivers door. if i flash the blade not to unlock/relock and hook the disarm output from the starter itself to the brown wire in the kick panel its suppose to disarm it without unlocking it. but i wasn't sure if i have to hook up the arm wire from the starter for it to arm when locking or after starting. or will the blade still handle that.

The Blade will still take the CM900's Lock command and lock/arm the car. There is no rearm
after a remote start. Additionally, the car would be left in the same condition door lock
wise as it was prior to the R/S. If the doors were unlocked, they would still be unlocked.
