I will be using Idatalink ADS AL, Python 4105P as the remote start. Will be using Data mode. I do have some questions.

What exactly is E-Brake status and do I have to connect that wire from the Bypass to Remote start? Which wire on the R.S. to be used for this?

The vehicle called for 2 starter wires but RS has only 1, I still need to use relay for the second starter, right? A friend/tech told me to use Diodes.

thanks

E-brake status should be negative when the emergency brake is applied. On manuals you connect this to the neutral safety/e-brake input. On an automatic you can just ground it.

Search the wiring section. There are 2 second starter wires listed, both negative.

Your system may have a negative starter output, so double check. I agree, use diodes.

If you are using the ADS AL-CA bypass module and going D2D with the 4105, make sure you flash the module with the DBI AL(DL) SUB3 firmware.

I would follow the Type 4 Install diagram in the SUB3 install guide. The Strater2 wire shown is (+). Unfortunately, the 4105s Pink/White selectable wire can't be set to Starter, so I would use a relay to convert the 4105s Purple (-) Starter wire to the needed (+) signal. Using diodes to isolate a 25 amp and a 10 amp circuit may not be a good idea.

Kreg is right. I just realized I was looking at the PTS in the wiring section, not key start. Diodes would be a bad idea.

Hello

I looked at the vehicle wiring diagram, I saw "Second starter RED (SS1); black (SS2) - push button ignition switch, black 14 pin plug, pin 7,2 < does this only avail in PTS, not Key start?

The 4105's Purple starter wire is (+)

Its possible you are making this more intriguing than it is. Flash the ADS AL-CA with the correct firmaware, download the install guide shown and follow the Type 4 install diagram.

The remote starter shown is generic so you will have to use the 4105 guide and programming to provide the needed outputs to complete the install.
