I had a polar start 2-way remote starter installed on my truck when it was new in 2010. The 6 button remote was ok for awhile but now only works intermittently. The install on the truck is good just the remote is marginal, is it possible to upgrade to a newer remote or am I stuck with this remote which is very hard to find. (and expensive) The unit is a ps-4461twe-fm. Thanks

My truck is a 2010 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 4.0 auto. transponder in the key.
