I installed a viper 4105 in my 2001 grand Cherokee. Now that its winter the immobilizer bypass stopped working. I used an extra key wrapped in 22 gauge wire hooked to a relay when I originally installed the viper. I think I need to replace this with a real bypass module for cold weather reliability.
Can you recommend a bypass that a DIY er can install without needing a software download?

Here is one option...
While a little pricey, the Fortin INT SL+ is a good module for that vehicle that comes preloaded. I'm assuming that everything else is working ( locks, alarms, etc ) because the INT SL+ can do more than just the transponder bypass. You would have to go W2W. Follow the Plan 2 / Type 6 Without Datalink diagram and only connect the GWR wire to the 4105.
------------- Soldering is fun!
