Need some advice on the viper 5305v installing on a truck.

It comes with 1 pin switch and id like to put that on my hood. I bought another switch for my tailgate. Can i connect both switches to the same number 9 alarm pin input?

I also have a 507m tilt switch. Ive seen 2 different ways to add that to the alarm.
So if i can get advice on the best way to install 1 pin switch on hood and 1 on tailgate. And the tilt switch.

My last alarm install was in 2000 and it had multiple sensor inputs. So just a little confused. Thanks

While you can connect both pin switches to this wire, I suggest using the trunk (blue - instant trigger) input for the tailgate. You may need an L-bracket to install the pin in the tailgate. Alternatively, you might consider a magnetic reed switch (more low-profile).

Thanks. Yeah thats where i was confused as it said to hookup the tilt sensor to that wire too. Thats when i figured id just hook both pin switches together. Another option was to wire the tilt switch to the green shock sensor wire harness. So just looking for whats best.
