Merry christmas everyone. I need a lil help. Havent installed an alarm in over 10yrs. Bought the 5x05v for a 85 c10. Only doin the alarm with door pin, shock and tilt switch. No remote start. Im just confused with all the ign wires and constant 12v wires accessory wires. Do i need to connect all of them? Last alarm i installed as far as power goes, just had 1 constant, 1 accessory , 1 ground. Thats why im confused. Thanks in advance

Only connect the wires applicable for your truck:

Thanks. Yeah im just going to play with it tomorrow. I bought it for the brand and 2way remote. Im not going to have extra accessories so i dont need all the - outputs. But for instance the 5 pin has one 12v constant and the 10 pin has 3 12v constant. That confused me. Like i need to hook all 4 up. But reading more. Some of those are to power accessories or relay. So il just cut those back to i guessposted_image

Since you're not doing remote start, you still need to connect the heavy pink wire to ignition. This is used for programming (features, remotes, etc.) as well as to go into valet mode without the remote.

If you want to use the onboard starter kill, you should also connect the red/black wire, as well as the green and purple (heavy wires).
