Hey guys working on this lexus and im having trouble locating the trunk release wire. The two wires from directechs and wirecolor.com were Trunk/Hatch Release     lt. green (rear handle switch)     -     Body ECU (LH) on driver dash fuse box, white 16 pin plug, pin 13 & from wire color (-) Trunk Release Purple
At Fuse Box in the D Connector. Which really doesnt help me at all. Does anyone else have some more info on this wire? Also whats the correct way to wire a relay for this car because im completely stuck. I wired it like this 86 - trunk release output on RS / 30 to trunk release or (-) solenoid / 85 - +12V / 87 - GND

The Trunk Release should only need the (-) Trunk Release output from your R/S system, no additional
relay should be required. The wire you are looking for is Light Green and found at the Body ECU (LH)
16 Pin plug at Pin 13. This ECU is part of the Fuse Box found under the drivers side of the dash.   You
can test this wire with a Digital Multi Meter set to 20 V DC, Red test lead to +12V and the Black test
lead to the suspect wire. The DMM should go to +12V when the trunk is opened with the rear handle.
You'll need a helper for this test.

Sorry, I don't have a photos of this vehicle.

Soldering is fun!
